What’s the story behind your nickname?

Nicknames often emerge from childhood memories, inside jokes, or playful moments with friends. But mine “UncommonPen” wasnβt given. I forged it.
It started with a feeling. The kind that builds quietly when you realize you’re tired of the echo chamber of recycled thoughts and templated writing. I wanted to write with intent. Not just to fill space on a page or optimize for algorithms, but to say something – real, raw, and relevant. To pierce the noise.
Thatβs where UncommonPen was born: at the intersection of purpose and rebellion.
The word βUncommonβ stands as a quiet protest against the typical, the overused, the mass-produced. In a time when content is churned out like fast food, I strive to serve a handcrafted dish – sometimes spicy, sometimes sweet, but always thoughtfully prepared.
βPenβ is my weapon of choice. Yes, itβs digital now – a keyboard, a blinking cursor – but the spirit remains the same. Words have power, and the pen is still mightier than the algorithm (at least, I like to believe so).
Together, UncommonPen is more than a nickname. Itβs a commitment.
A commitment to:
Write without cliches.
Speak what others hesitate to say.
Explore the unusual angles.
Question the βdefaultβ narrative.
It reminds me to stay bold, honest, and imaginative. To challenge the conventional – not for the sake of being different, but to be real.
So whether itβs a blog post, a brand story, or a personal reflection, when you see βUncommonPenβ at the bottom of the page, know this: it wasnβt written to please everyone. It was written to reach someone – someone whoβs tired of the common and craves something a little moreβ¦ uncommon.
