Do you see yourself as a leader?

Leadership is a word that often feels too big for meโlike a heavy coat that doesnโt quite fit yet. When I think of a leader, I imagine someone standing at the front of a room, speaking with confidence, and having all the answers. That image doesnโt always align with who I am.
But then again, leadership isnโt just about commanding a crowd. Sometimes, itโs about quietly guiding, setting an example, or being the one people turn to when things feel uncertain.
Iโve noticed small ways where leadership shows up in my life:
- In conversations, when friends look to me for advice.
- In projects, when I naturally step in to organize and keep things moving.
- In personal choices, when I hold onto my values even if it means standing apart.
Do I see myself as a leader? Not always in the traditional sense. But I do believe leadership isnโt about titles or positionsโitโs about influence, responsibility, and the willingness to carry others forward, even in small ways.
Maybe Iโm still learning to grow into that โbig coat.โ And maybe thatโs what makes leadership realโitโs not about being perfect, but about being willing.
