Do you see yourself as a leader?

Leadership is a word that often feels too big for meβlike a heavy coat that doesnβt quite fit yet. When I think of a leader, I imagine someone standing at the front of a room, speaking with confidence, and having all the answers. That image doesnβt always align with who I am.
But then again, leadership isnβt just about commanding a crowd. Sometimes, itβs about quietly guiding, setting an example, or being the one people turn to when things feel uncertain.
Iβve noticed small ways where leadership shows up in my life:
- In conversations, when friends look to me for advice.
- In projects, when I naturally step in to organize and keep things moving.
- In personal choices, when I hold onto my values even if it means standing apart.
Do I see myself as a leader? Not always in the traditional sense. But I do believe leadership isnβt about titles or positionsβitβs about influence, responsibility, and the willingness to carry others forward, even in small ways.
Maybe Iβm still learning to grow into that βbig coat.β And maybe thatβs what makes leadership realβitβs not about being perfect, but about being willing.
