If I Built a Team, This Is What It Would Stand For

If you started a sports team, what would the colors and mascot be?

โ€œStrength doesnโ€™t always roarโ€”sometimes it watches, waits, and strikes with purpose.โ€

If I ever started a sports team, I wouldnโ€™t choose colors just because they look bold on jerseys. Iโ€™d choose colors that mean somethingโ€”colors that tell a story even before the game begins.

The team colors would be deep blue and warm gold.

Blue, for calm under pressure.
For patience, trust, and focus when the game gets tough.
Not the kind of confidence that shoutsโ€”but the kind that stays steady till the final whistle.

Gold, for effort and heart.
For showing up even when no oneโ€™s watching.
For the quiet fire that keeps burning, win or lose.

Together, theyโ€™d represent balanceโ€”strength with grace, intensity with control.

As for the mascot, it would be an owl.

Not the fastest.
Not the loudest.
But watchful, intelligent, and precise.

An owl doesnโ€™t rush into chaos. It observes. It waits. And when it moves, it does so with purpose. Thatโ€™s the kind of team Iโ€™d want to buildโ€”one that plays smart, respects the game, and understands that timing can be just as powerful as speed.

This wouldnโ€™t be a team known for flashy celebrations.
It would be known for consistency.
For resilience.
For always being harder to defeat than expected.

Because in the end, the best teams arenโ€™t remembered only for how they wonโ€”but for how they carried themselves while playing.

And thatโ€™s the legacy Iโ€™d want stitched into every jersey.
