What change, big or small, would I like my blog to make in the world?
I think about this oftenโusually not while typing, but while staring out windows, walking empty streets, or sitting quietly in cafรฉs. Itโs a question that sits in the back of my head like a steady heartbeat.
UncommonPen was never meant to be just a blog. It began as a whisper, a thought: What if words could connect the uncommon threads of everyday life? What if stories, no matter how small, could make someone feel seen?
Iโm not here to change the entire world. But I do want to change someone’s worldโone person at a time.
If my blog can do any good, I hope it makes people feel less alone. In a world drowning in noise, curated perfection, and fast-scrolling distractions, I want UncommonPen to be a place where readers can pause, breathe, and think. A place where vulnerability isnโt weakness but a quiet kind of strength.
I want my words to reach:
- The overthinker who’s been questioning their worth.
- The creative who’s unsure whether their voice matters.
- The silent sufferer who just needs someone to say, โIโve felt that too.โ
If even one person reads a post on UncommonPen and feels a little more hopeful, a little more human, thatโs the change I want to spark.
I also hope to inspire honesty. Not the loud, flashy kind, but the slow, brave kind that lives in small choicesโtelling the truth even when itโs hard, writing from the heart even when itโs scary, showing up authentically in a world obsessed with filters.
UncommonPen isnโt here to shout. Itโs here to echo. To whisper truths we often hide. To remind people that their inner world is just as important as the outer one. To give language to things we feel but canโt always say.
Thatโs the change I want.
Not revolutionaryโbut real. Not sweepingโbut steady.
Because even small ripples can reach far-off shores.
